How to unlock carrier locked SIM on Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus.

People were crazy over Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ even before its release because the hype that was created was overwhelming. Now it has been almost a month and the flagship craze is still going strong. So much so that people are not even bothered by the carrier locked SIM phones.

The time has gone when users were completely bound by the carrier locked SIM and they wouldn’t even try hard to get rid of the problem. Now there are ways, simple ways, with which you can unlock our SIM and use any carrier service you like or prefer.

Most of the carriers will give you a locked SIM so that you stay bound and are unable to shift to another service before completion unless you pay rest of the payments. But with these uncomplicated steps you are free to use a carrier more feasible for you.

How to unlock a carrier locked SIM for Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+:

1 Dial ‘*#06#’ from your device’s dialpad in order to get the IMEI number.

2 Call your carrier’s customer service centre and provide them with the IMEI number. A unique code will be generated then which shall be sent either on your home adress (that takes four to five working days) or on your valid registered e-mail address.

3 As soon as you receive the unique code for unlocking your SIM, you are obligated to remove the old SIM from your S8/S8+ and insert the new one.

4 You will be asked to enter the unique code for unlocking the SIM. Enter the code and your new SIM from whichever carrier you got it, will work just fine.

I am a 33 years old living and working in Dublin, Ireland. I have a degree in hotel management but that couldn’t make me work in a hotel as that did not work out well for me. I work as a shift supervisor in a Starbucks café but I am also an entrepreneur, which for me is a lot more exciting than working in a coffee shop. This blog is also a part of my excitement. Part of my entrepreneurship. I love reading books, mostly on politics. I used to write poetry but have stopped it since last couple of years. I love photography and I do know quite a bit about it but haven’t been practicing that either but I am sure I will start it some day. Writing is one of the most difficult things I find to do but once I start, I won’t stop. I start loving it more and more with every word I write. Making this blog and writing is a small effort I believe I can do to make things right, things which have been going very wrong in other famous blogs out there in Pakistan. I am writing to do something against obscenity and vulgarity going on different blogs. I aim to write constructive and something people can learn from. Be it a piece of news or an article. It has to be worth reading and something people can learn from. That’s the aim.
